Problem reported
The cutting discs were acceptable, but individual boxes and outer cartons showed damage after transport.
Investigation points
- Product weight and movement inside the inner box
- Board strength and box construction
- Quantity and stacking pattern per outer carton
- Empty space and internal support
- Strapping pressure and pallet arrangement
- Handling and route conditions
Improvement direction
The packaging review separated product quality from packaging quality. Stronger outer cartons alone would not solve movement inside the box. The final packing method needed a coordinated inner-box, carton and loading design.
Packing lesson
OEM approval should cover not only artwork but also the practical packing structure, carton protection and pre-shipment confirmation.
