Request
A stone-tool buyer requested multiple large diameters for wet granite cutting, with a common 60 mm bore. The range included 350, 400, 500, 600, 700 and 800 mm.
Why one specification could not simply be scaled
As diameter increases, core thickness, tension, segment arrangement, machine power and cutting depth become more important. The product cannot be defined only by diameter and bore.
Confirmation sequence
- Machine model and spindle details
- Granite type and operating mode
- Required core type and noise-control option
- Segment dimensions and arrangement
- Target speed and life
- Packing and transport protection
Outcome of the technical review
The product range was separated by diameter group so that the core and segment system could be confirmed appropriately. Large blades require a structured quotation and drawing confirmation.
